Director

Katie Tantillo is responsible for all phases of the program. She works directly with the teachers on the curriculum and the daily events in the classrooms as well as with the board on the administrative operations of the preschool.

Katie taught for many years at the middle school level prior to beginning her career as a preschool educator in 2015. She moved into the director's role in 2021. She has a BA from University of Illinois and a MA in Teaching from National Louis University.

Teachers

The staff at LCNS is highly qualified, experienced and dedicated to providing the best preschool experience for every child. Collectively, our teachers have over 75 years of early childhood teaching experience.

All lead teachers at LCNS have BA’s or higher in the field of education. In order to maintain DCFS standards and stay current with early childhood trends, the staff attends a variety of seminars and workshops throughout the year. Teachers are also certified in CPR and First Aid.
