Director
Amy Morrissey is responsible for all phases of the program. She works directly with the teachers on the curriculum and the daily events in the classrooms as well as with the board on the administrative operations of the preschool.
Amy started her teaching career in 2000 as a preschool teacher and quickly moved into the director’s role, which she has held since 2004. She has a BA from Michigan State University and a MA in Early Childhood Education.

Teachers
The staff at LCNS is highly qualified, experienced and dedicated to providing the best preschool experience for every child. Collectively, our teachers have over 75 years of early childhood teaching experience.
All lead teachers at LCNS have BA’s or higher in the field of education. In order to maintain DCFS standards and stay current with early childhood trends, the staff attends a variety of seminars and workshops throughout the year. Teachers are also certified in CPR and First Aid.
